Dear GM:
- What do you do when one of your PCs pigheadedly runs into a situation that derails your planned campaign?
- I threw a complete hissy fit in a game over pair of magical boots that I thought my character deserved but they went to my wife’s character instead. The dispute spilled into real life which made it even more absurd. The game in question was very boozy. I was truly embarrassed by my behavior and I made amends with the group in and out of character. What is the most extreme player melt down you have ever witnessed and how did you handle it?
Adventure Hook!
An expedition to the wall at the edge of the world.
- The wall is not visible from everywhere in the world because the planet isn’t flat, but it can be seen over the horizon for thousands of miles.
- The closer to the wall the colder it gets because it blocks or filters sunlight.
- There are beings beyond the wall.
